Correct Coordinating Of Te Reo Māori

Correct Coordinating Of Te Reo Māori

We have been learning about pronunciation of Māori place names, alphabet and greetings. The website we used in order to learn all this was Education Perfect! It helped me to pronounce everything correctly and I could record my voice to re hear when I have pronounced the word correctly or incorrectly.  I thought I did well pronouncing the Māori alphabet and correcting myself. I think that I need to do better at pronouncing the greetings such as Kia Ora and trying my hardest to correct myself. Have you ever pronounced the māori alphabet before?

Smart Surfing

In Te Ngahere we have been learning about smart surfing. Smart surfing is something we did that improved how we looked up information we needed. We were introduced to smart surfing by our teachers, they made a slide that we had to fill in. Here are some examples of what we use to write into the search bar and now.

Before: where do manuka trees live?

Now: manuka tree habitat?

We now only need to use the key words to get more information from Google search. It has had such a huge impact in what we wrote on the search bar and now. I now get more information on my work and enjoy just writing key words instead of full sentences. Have you been introduced to smart surfing yet?
