On our break off school I did a lot of stuff with dad! On the first week all we did was ride our horse Snowball! If you don’t know who Snowball is scroll down a bit more and you will see all about.yet So what we did with Snowball was we groomed her took her for long walks up to Poerua and more! It was a lot of fun I love it up the farm. Do you have a farm or have been on a farm before?

 At a farm it's easy fun work like riding horses and moving cows but there is also hard parts such as drafting cows, selling cows and feeding out hay just so they can be fed. That's why me and my dad spent 2 hours in the milking shed putting the cows we were keeping and putting the cows we were selling into a different pen! We also had to move the remaining cows we were keeping back into their paddock. Would you do this hard work?

Fun P.E

Today the whole school is going to do some P.E! We do this every thursdays and fridays. I love doing pe it’s my favorite thing to do at school besides maths! On the first week we did P.E I did discus with some of my friends! And the week after that we did shot put, it was a lot of fun to play and to learn new tips and tricks! Have you done shot put or discus?

 My Amazing School Holiday!

On our 2 weeks we were on break I went to the

farm with my dad! The farm is my papa’s farm

and my uncle use to move the cows but he died.

So now me my dad and my sister do it! We went

up there nearly everyday and  we went down to

see my uncles horse’s, Snowball, Whetu and Tak!

When we went down we saw my dad by Snowball

and he let us all have a ride on Snowball. Snowball

is 2 years old she’s is a Caramello also a mare.

It was really fun going to the farm. Do you have

Fun Fusion!

In our class we have been learning about rockets!

They come in on Wednesdays and there names

are Troy and Gustavo. They were telling us what

they do and basically and intro to tell us about them.

I learnt alot from them and I found out that Troy does

storm drains and Gustavo made red kiwifruit! They

are going to be coming in tomorrow I hope and they

will be teaching us about new things. If you had

a chance to have them work with you would you accept

or decline?

Lucky Last Day!

Lucky Last Day!

Last term  we had a fun last day! We watched movies and
ate snacks that our teachers gave us. The movie was called
Coco.  It was about a kid going into the land of the dead and
it was pretty cool to watch. We also watched The Little Rascals
which was way funnier than Coco. Would you watch any of these
movies?

Easy Angles

Hi my name is Ebony and I am here to teach you about more angles! I am learning to identify types of angles

The angles we are doing is  right  angle, acute angle and
obtuse angle.I am learning to teach other people my work
so they can get  knowledge from another student. This was
hard and easy because measuring was hard and the answers
were easy. Would you use these angles?

Hi my name is Ebony and I'm from Paihia school. In my classroom I have been learning about angles. I found some hard and some easy but I still managed to get 100 %. I found the beginning ones were easy and as we carried on it got a bit harder.    Have you done angles in class yet?

  

Maths eyes

We have been learning about maths eyes in Te Ngahere. Maths eye is something we use daily but you don't realise you're using  it! Its like you have a class of gingerbread men (24) and they are like the same. (EXAMPLE) with the gingerbread men all of their arms or legs all add up to 44 arms or legs. Maybe you can see your maths eyes?

On week 1 on Friday we started to design our class. We are designing our class because we want it like the Ngahere. Each student got to choose any animal and design it because after we were going to put our faces on it so people know who is in Te Ngahere. I made a pigeon but other people did other things like Thea did a tuatara and ondreous did a cockroach. Design our class was fun because we thought of ideas to put on our animal and we got to paint them too which was really cool to do. We did it like the bush Because our class is Te Ngahere. I love decorating our class.

Turbo touch

Last Friday we did turbo touch with Whaea Shanna,Gina
,Whaea Chrissy and Whaea Ronnie they  all helped us play the
game and strategies to win. There was 4 to 5 people in a group 
We had to pass the ball to our teammates and then we would run
and then pass again. Also if we got tagged by the other team
we would have to give the ball to them.  If one of us had the
ball and we got it in between 2 cones we would win. If they
dropped the ball the other team would have to tap and pass  within
2 seconds.

What you can do is you can pass forward and backwards
also slide to side. If  you get tagged you have to touch them
with both hands. 

I liked playing turbo touch because it's fun and you can pass it
to your teammates.
