Different Online Relationships.

In Te Ngahere we have been learning about online relationships, and how to keep safe with your online relationships. We are learning this because there are many things that can go wrong with a relationship online, such as: getting groomed, pedophiles and catfishing. They also can lead to being kidnapped. I think what I could do better online is make my captions of my post better and make it cyber safe for other readers to read by making it  swearing free and positive. I thought this interaction on how we have been learning about this has such a good impact on me because I can learn, and maybe save myself from possibly getting catfished or groomed by someone. Have you ever done something bad online before?

Cool Ocean Drawings

In Te Ngahere we have been doing ocean arts of fish with other living creatures that are aquatic. The point of this was to get confident with using google drawings more and to practice using the tools more with line colour too. The easy part I found was making the fish and other aquatic things, but the hard part was grouping them together because I didn't know how to group them together. We used auto shapes to make the fish and lining tools. I enjoyed this activity really fun. Have you tried this before?

My Funny Understanding About Reading the Success Criteria

Today we did a test about following instructions properly. We had started off with a piece of paper and a pencil. We did this test to see how well we could follow instructions. There were 23 instructions and we had four minutes to complete it.  I only reached number 18 before our teachers stopped us and told us to sit on the floor. The first red flag that I had not read carefully was the first instruction. The first instruction said “read everything carefully before doing anything” so I got it wrong because I honestly  did not want to read all 23 instructions so I  just read the instructions while answering them. I realised that I did not follow and read the  instructions carefully and did it all wrong. When the teachers sent us to the floor they told everyone that the last instruction said “just do instruction one and two”. I felt a little stupid but I also started laughing at myself. Do you always read instructions carefully?

Fantastic Pizza Creator.

Yesterday we went to Technology in Moerewa. We did cooking with Whaea Dot. We made pizza and made the bread ourselves, we also chopped up all of our ingredients ourselves. Some of us had Oregano in our dough and some didn't use oregano. The ingredients most of us used were cheese, garlic, onion, tomato and pineapple. Some of us used spinach too. It took around 20-30 minutes to cook and we had it on 200 degrees. I enjoyed making the pizza but the  most challenging part for me was to get all the measurements correct.  I could have done my toppings better but I think I did the dough really good. Have you ever made pizza before?
